Out of Miami, I went on a weeklong Singles Cruise
in the Eastern Caribbean on the Carnival Triumph.
3000 passengers (yes, three thousand!) of which 600 were in the singles group (we wore blue wrist straps to identify ourselves). Boarding the ship was worse than going through security at the airport (equivalent security, but way more people).
The ship visited Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and St. Thomas (USVI).
Oh, and it was during the week of my birthday and Halloween!
Afterwards I relaxed in hip South Miami Beach, and visited my friend Majo who took me to Little Havana for dinner, and salsa dancing at an über-hip South Miami Beach club.
